Uncharted Golden Abyss How Many Chapters Are In the GameUncharted: Golden Abyss: How Many Chapters Are In the Game

The Uncharted: Golden Abyss game is a PlayStation Vita exclusive title that was released in 2011 in Japan, and in 2012 in the rest of the world. It was one of the launch titles for the now-defunct PlayStation Vita and it really did a great job pushing the platform to its limit.

Since it was meant to be a PlayStation Vita-only title, it takes advantage of the new tilt and touch controls of the Vita, but also its camera and sensors. This is, in part, one of the reasons the game was omitted from the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection remaster on PlayStation 4.

Compared to the rest of the Uncharted games, this one was not made by Naughty Dog, but rather by Sony’s Bend Studio which at the time was one of the few studios to know all the details about the upcoming PlayStation Vita.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss: How Many Chapters Are In the Game

This game is way too long! It has 34 chapters.

The first time I played this game, I felt like the story dragged for too long, and the end credits screen was a relief. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice game, maybe one of the best I’ve ever played on a portable console, but at some point, it becomes a bit boring and repetitive.

The gimmicky quick-time actions where you have to swipe the screen in certain directions or balance yourself with the tilt controls also started to get old quite fast after chapter 15 or so.

Some of the chapters tend to be really short, for example, chapter 13 is essentially just an interactive cutscene where you can tap the shining artifacts to collect the treasures while Nate and Chase talk to each other.

Overall, the chapters are also much shorter than they tend to get on the console, so even though there are 34 chapters, they are nowhere near as long as the console chapters.

There you have it, all 34 chapters of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Some of these chapters are really short, while others are jam-packed with action and combat. We highly recommend that you play on Easy difficulty first.

One of the hardest chapters to beat is the Chapter 34 which has you beat Guerro in a QTE fight. The fight is so much harder on a higher difficulty setting, because the swipes may not register as fast as you need them.

I am a gamer myself. Very passionate about a lot of games, but my favorite series remain Uncharted, and of course, Tomb Raider. I play mostly on PlayStation 4, but I grew up playing on PC as well. You can find here the best game guides, so enjoy.
