If you have a PlayStation Plus membership, you are surely aware that Sony provides you with 2-3 free games each month that you may download and play at any time while your PlayStation Plus subscription is current.
Every month, you’ll receive a mix of games ranging from AAA blockbusters like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to sub-par indie games that no one desires or has ever heard of. Don’t get me wrong: standalone video games may be entertaining and addictive, but the majority of the titles Sony gave us on Plus in 2021 were not. The days of getting AAA games every month with your Plus membership are long gone.
April 2023 PlayStation Plus Monthly Free Games
In April 2023, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get for free the following games:
- Meet Your Maker
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Tails of Iron
Meet Your Maker is undoubtedly the most popular of these free games. It’s unusual for PS Plus to give away a free game on the first day, but Meet Your Maker is joining the program on the first day.
The game is the next project from Dead by Daylight developers Behaviour Interactive, and it has received mixed reactions thus far. PS Plus customers may sample it for free in addition to their regular monthly charge, while everyone else must spend $29.99.
Tails of Iron and Sackboy: A Big Adventure are both excellent additions to the PlayStation Plus roster. Both games received mainly favorable reviews from critics, and Sackboy was a PlayStation 5 launch release.
Overall, the free PS Plus games for April 2023 should help keep users subscribed to Sony’s service, and it will be fascinating to see whether the free PS Plus titles for May 2023 can top them.

Not my particular favorites; I believe the past month’s games performed far better, and I am a bit reluctant to play these games.
