If you have a PlayStation Plus membership, you are probably aware that Sony sends you 2-3 free monthly games that you may download and play at any time as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription is active.
Each month, you’ll get a variety of games ranging from AAA blockbusters like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to mediocre indie games that no one wants or has heard of. Don’t get me wrong: solo video games may be fun and addicting, but the bulk of the titles Sony released on Plus in 2021 were not. The days of receiving AAA titles as part of your Plus subscription every month are a thing of the past.
August 2023 PlayStation Plus Monthly Free Games
In August 2023, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get for free the following games:
- PGA Tour 2K23
- Dreams
- Death’s Door
PGA Tour 2K23: PGA Tour 2K23 is a sports video game released by 2K for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It was developed by HB Studios and released by 2K. It is the fifth title in the PGA Tour 2K series and the first to include the Top of the Rock golf course as a bonus.
Dreams: Dreams is an incredible and ever-expanding gaming universe created by the Media Molecule, creators of LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway. In this one-of-a-kind universe, you may discover games developed by the community from all over the world and even learn to design your own! You have the ability to bring your craziest ideas to reality and share them with the world. Dreams is a wonderful digital playground for everyone who likes gaming, music, art, animation, or films.
Death’s Door: Developed by Acid Nerve and released by Devolver Digital in 2021, Death’s Door is an action-adventure game. The game has several entertaining mechanisms as well as bizarre characters that you may join up with. You have a choice of using melee or ranged weaponry. You may also alter your character’s attributes in the game to suit your preferences and playing style.
August 2023 PlayStation Plus Month Score
Overall, we rate this month’s choice as Ok, despite the fact that it hardly improves on the rather dismal previous several months. To be quite honest, I have no interest in any of these games, and I believe that the monthly game collection is getting worse and worse.
5.5 / 10 – OK
