What is Uncharted: The Lost Legacy?

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has begun as a DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but has easily developed into a fully-fledged game with its own Platinum trophy, its own story, great chapter design, and an incredible amount of breathtaking landscapes based in India.

The story behind it revolves around the fabled Golden Tusk of Ganesh, an old Hoysala artifact that has never been recovered before and still lies somewhere in the hidden crumbling ruins of the Hoysala empire.

Compared to the OG Uncharted games, this one doesn’t have Nathan Drake as a protagonist because Nathan’s story ends in Uncharted 4. This game, however, has Chloe Frazer (Nate’s former ally and ex-girlfriend and Nadine Ross, former enemy in Uncharted 4) as the main characters.




Overall, the game is an astonishing success and it really feels like Uncharted 5 in all ways. As someone who has gotten the Platinum trophy on this game, having done anything that can be done in it, have my word that this really feels like the Uncharted experience you’ve grown to love.

How Many Chapters Are in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy?

Without counting the prologue and the epilogue, there are 10 main chapters in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. This is, indeed, way fewer than the other Uncharted games who used to have 20+ chapters. Some chapters are noticeably long in The Lost Legacy (for example Chapter 4 which is a giant open-world), and some are fairly short.

How difficult is each chapter to complete on Crushing? (For Platinum)

1. Prologue – Very easy
2. The Insurgency – Easy
3. Infiltration – Easy
4. Homecoming – Moderate (the last encounter is a bit OP)
5. The Western Ghats (maybe the biggest chapter in the game) – Hard (multiple encounters and puzzles, also turrets)
6. The Great Battle – Moderate
7. The Gatekeeper – Moderate
8. The Lost Legacy – Hard (Multiple encounters with well-armed foes)
9. Partners – Moderate
10. End of the Line – Crushing (Will take A LOT of patience and many many retries. It’s doable, but will challenge each bone in your body)
11. Finale – Easy

If you’re planning to play on Crushing difficulty in order to get the Platinum, I’d say your biggest worries are about the End of the Line chapter. It’s the chapter where you’ve jumped onto the train and are trying to reach the front car where the bomb is. On Crushing this is nothing short of a nightmare as cars with enemies and even turrets pour from the side of the train as you move from car to car.

Not only that, but on Crushing you can take only 2-3 shots before you one step away from death (screen turns black and white), you best be covering your bum. Not only do you have to kill a sizeable amount of mercs, but you also need to jump onto one of their 4x4s at some point because one of the cars is a cistern so you cannot climb it and move forward.

Hardest to obtain trophies in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

If you’re aiming for the Platinum trophy, here’s a list of the most difficult trophies that will require serious grind. All in all, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy should be one of the easiest Uncharted games to get a platinum.

Going from almost impossible to hard, here’s the list:

• Progress Demands Sacrifice – Gold – Requires you to finish the game on Crushing difficulty.
• Just the Wind – Silver – Sealth take-down 15 enemies in a row (it’s also a bit bugged and sometimes may not count your melee kills at all).
• The Way of the Warrier – Gold – Make it to the outskirts of HAlebidu in Chapter 5 without using a firearm or explosive (basically play from Prologue to Chapter 5 with nothing but melee).
• Best Driver in the Business – Bronze – Drive from the Ganesh mountain carving to the top of the waterfall at the Trident Fort and back in under 3 minutes (terrain is pretty off-roady and the time is kinda short considering the distance, there’s no room for error here).
• Right Under Your Nose – Silver – Destroy the helicopter without defeating any other enemies. (There’s quite a lot of them and to destroy the helicopter you need to snatch an RPG from one of the locked boxes which are in the middle of their camp. Not an easy feat but doable).
